Hello everyone. I’ll try not to be too lengthy here. My name is Krystal, and I’m from Vincennes, IN (southern part of the state). My husband, Andy, will be sort of learning alongside me, but I’m the one “officially” enrolled in the course.
I was raised as a third-generation Free Methodist. To make a long story short, I fell away from Christ in my teen years and later rededicated my life to Him at age 22. It has been a wonderful journey of growth in the Lord since then. I married Andy in September of 2005, and since then, we’ve both felt called to the ministry. He is currently enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary, and I hope to begin work on a Religious Studies Bachelors degree in the Spring. We are both excited about Reclaiming the Mind ministries, and this class in particular.
Favorite movie? That’s hard. Think I’d have to say White Christmas.
And soda? Coke. That’s easier.
We both have particular interests in Bible prophecy, the restoration of Israel, and apologetics. (Perhaps, we are not as interesting as the things that interest us. lol.)
That’s a tidbit. Good luck to all!!

Greetings to my fellow TTP students!
My name is Daniel, I’m 17 years old and entering my senior year of high school here in Long Island, New York. To be honest i don’t know exactly when i got saved, but i do remember some dramatic changes that took place between my latter days in middle school and early days in high school. All i can say is that the Lord sought me out and purchased me, without his gracious pursuit i would surely have never found myself at the foot of the cross.
My favorite movie is the whole Star Wars saga. I believe that it will go down as a treasured myth which embodied many themes that have haunted all of human history.
Coke or Pepsi? I’m sorry but this really sounds like either-or-theology to me. Aren’t you guys trying to eradicate this type of thinking from us?
One of the most interesting things about me is how critical i am of beliefs and religion, especially of “Christendom’s”. This usually catches people off guard. I have become disenchanted with much of what is labeled “Christian” and i truly believe that a modern reformation is needed in America.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little. I am eager to get to know you!
Grace and Peace,
Daniel Camacho

Greetings classmates. I’m Richard Wyland from hot and dry Elk Grove, California.
I began my Christian life some years ago when on a Sierra Club hike I met a young lady who I became good friends with. On our first outing, a day hike in the Angeles National Forest, I found out she was one of those Christians, and the conversation entered into an area where I was very nervous. She began talking with me about the bible, end times, and the person of Christ. As our friendship continued, we had many more discussions and I often fervently tried to challenge her views. Many times, in frustration, I had to say: “just stop.” She was respectful, and the subject changed. Later I, oddly, found myself asking her questions, as she seemed to have quality answers to many of my objections. I eventually started to look into the question of who Jesus was and why it mattered. Months later I too, became a follower of Christ. That was way over twenty years ago. Its been an exciting journey since.
My favorite movie? Well I have favorite movies for different reasons. I don’t think I could just give one favorite movie:— Contact—Crimes and Misdemeanors—Short Circuit—It’s a Wonderful Life— etc.
Coke or Pepsi?????? Oh-gads, I maybe a relativist after all!
What is the most interesting thing about me? You got me! However, I just asked my lovely wife, and she said that I have a quest for knowledge, truth and enjoy raising thought provoking questions to make people think.
God Bless

Hi everybody,
I’m cheating for a part of this. My wife wrote the following about me for a publication I wrote, so I figure, why recreate the wheel. Consider this a bit of Tradition if you will.
Kwesi Williams is a Christian who sincerely believes that people are God’s greatest treasure. That’s the most important part.
You may also want to know that he has been a youth ministry practitioner since the age of 16 (for half of his life), most recently serving on the pastoral staff of a church in the Washington Metropolitan area as the full-time youth minister for five years.
Originally from Trinidad, Kwesi relocated to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as a teenager, struggling to get free from the baggage of an abusive adolescence. After finding his own SCREAM, he has helped others to begin their healing process.
Refreshingly difficult to label, Kwesi is a thinker who feels challenged to minister to young people’s practical needs, as well as providing an environment for worship and fellowship that is relevant to post-moderns.
We have recently relocated to Dallas, in preparation and hopes of a Church Plant.
Coke or Pepsi? Here I have to be Polemic and say; All saints drink Coke, Haha!
Movie: Phew, I have a list, but I’ll just say this, I love any story of great struggle and great overcoming. So, “A Few Good Men”, “Pride”, “Gladiator” you get the drift.
Most recently I find myself frustrated and disheartened by the lack of intellectualism coming from the church. I find the abuse coming from pulpits to be overwhelming and the lack of righteousness indignation in response to be absurd.
Interesting about me? I was a horrible student for the most of high school now I am a nerd. It’s just funny how life turns out sometimes.

Greetings in Christ, all.
My name is Warren. I am currently living in Southwest Washington, across the river from Portland, Oregon.
My coming to know Christ as Lord and Savior came later in life - and that was a little over twenty years ago. I was deeply steeped in Eastern mysticism (Shinto, Zen Buddhism, etc.). On top of that, my great-grandmother was a Native American shaman. Consequently, I examine EVERYTHING spiritual with a certain degree of skepticism.
My all-time-favorite movie is Sgt. York (old Gary Cooper). Amazing true story of dramatic conversion of a man who became a WWI hero.
Coke or Pepsi? Neither. Prefer root beer if at all.
Most interesting thing about me? My wife says, “That you were raised by wolves…”
No, actually what she said (this time) was, “That you have an absolute love for the Word of God; it’s not just what you do, it’s what you are about.”
Now, can you get Carrie to list me on the “Your Classmates” page?
Thanks, Michael - I look forward to interacting with you all.
Yours in the Master’s Service,
Warren Lamb (oldlamb_ttp)

Hi Everyone. I’m Archie Dawson from San Diego, California.
Some things about me… I’m 35. Married with 3 kids - a 4.5 year old boy and twin 2 year old girls. I’m a software engineer for a small communications company with an interest in martial arts, partner dancing, and (as of late) guitar playing. Of course, as a Christian I have an interest in theology. (I know that many Christians don’t care much about theology - I don’t get it)
I think my Christian walk isn’t too uncommon. I was raised Christian and in a church that was thick with spiritual feeling but thin on spiritual knowledge. Hitting the modern secular university pretty much shut me down. I had little to no knowledge of the intellectual Christian tradition so I had no defense against their assaults. I didn’t “lose my faith” but it was certainly shaken and my growth was ,effectively, frozen.
Thinking about marriage brought me back to thinking about the big questions of life. Thinking about kids even more so! Through the grace of God I ended up at a Church that had a decent respect for the intellectual life. I went from C.S. Lewis, to Lee Strobel’s books, to those Strobel tends to reference (Moreland, Craig, Kreeft, Willard, etc.) and on and on…
I have a lot of good books and do a lot of reading but my studying is a bit scattered. I need something like a ‘general education’ in Christian doctrine, history, and thought - some kind of well rounded curriculum that I can work into my schedule and in which I am confident. I also need a personal coach to hold me accountable. Basically, I need to be discipled! =)
After spending a few months visiting RTM, checking out their stuff, and seeing how they work through issues, I’m confident that taking their classes will be time well spent. I look forward working with you all!
A few more odds and ends:
Favorite Movie: None
Coke or Pepsi: COKE - No question!
Most Interesting Thing About Me: My Third Eye! (j/k)

Who am I?, Where am I from?
I’m Forest Cole, and I live in Houston with my wife, 5 yr old daughter and 1 yr old son.
If a Christian, how did you become a Christian?
I became a Christian when I received Christ at 9 years old. I went through a time where although I still believed, I wasn’t really strong in my faith until I experienced a rededication at 19. Then later in life I went through an extended time when I wasn’t connected to a church, but then became reconnected in the mid 90’s.
What is your favorite movie? Why?
Flywheel and Facing the Giants - these two movies by Alex Henderson really portray issues of coming back to a strong faith and life in Christ.
Coke or Pepsi?
No caffeine for me - apple spiced cider, Italian sodas, fruit fusion drinks, juices, etc. Oh and Denny’s “Strawberry Mango Pucker”.
What is the most interesting thing about you?
Depends on what you mean by interesting…

Who am I?, Where am I from?
I’m Stuart McCullough, and I live in East Tennessee with my new bride of four months, Kim.
If a Christian, how did you become a Christian?
I was saved at 12, thought that Christianity lacked relevance through my teens and early 20’s, repented at about 25.
What is your favorite movie? Why?
Braveheart - what’s not to like?
Coke or Pepsi?
Water
What is the most interesting thing about you?
Bought my first stock at the age of 12.

I was just wondering Michael, what you were referring to here. When you said that you were going to call me #5! on September 3rd. See below. I’m new to this program and I’m still learning the ropes. But I am finding this class to be very good although watching the lectures at the alotted times doesn’t work for since I live in California.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Everyone!
I had this information on my computer for a while but I just never posted it. Better late than never.
My name is Wendy and my husband and I along with our two young children live in Greensburg, PA (about 25 miles away from Pittsburgh).
I accepted Christ at the age of 7 right here in Greensburg. I grew up about an hour away from Greensburg and find it interesting that the same town in which I was saved is the same town where I teach children about the Lord.
I enjoy ice skating and doing just about anything with my children. They can always make me laugh.
I currently work part-time at a Christian school in the office and am active in our local church.
I don’t know where my husband stands with regard to his salvation, so that is a constant prayer of mine.
I strive to be salt and light to all that I come in contact with on a daily basis. I love the Lord and am so happy to be a part of this class. I am learning more than I thought I ever would.
Thank you Michael for all you do to put these classes together. It is obvious how you pour your heart and soul into your work.
